Leading in the emergent Field of
Computational Social Science

Social and computational scientists stand at the cusp of a revolution with the potential of AI and Machine Learning poised to transform the next generation of social and computational research and teaching.

The Chicago Center for Computational Social Science brings together researchers and students to not only apply computational methods to social science questions but to also pioneer new approaches to AI and computation that place social and cognitive dimensions at the core.

"The Cube (C3S2) is focused on the horizon of how emerging computational intelligences are opening up the social and cultural world for novel understanding, engaging in changing that world such that it demands new insight, probing and improving the “societies inside” complex models driving the AI revolution. For anyone who wants to expand their capacity, mixing carbon and silicon intelligence, enter the Cube!"
