C3S2 harnesses the intellectual depth and methodological diversity of its scholars.
This builds an interdisciplinary community where theorists, empiricists, and data scientists collaborate to interrogate how algorithms shape and reflect human life. In doing so, the Center consolidates the University’s existing strengths into a coherent, faculty-driven framework that amplifies inquiry, fosters innovation, and reinforces the social sciences as the interpretive core of the computational age.
